5Absolutely SWEET!!!
By Eight Of Eight
My cotton candy maker arrived 6 days ago and I’ve employed it each day since.

I heated it up for in regards to 8 minutes before adding the sugar/candy, and the floss appeared with regards to a minute after that. Since there were a lot of kids lined up to test the results, the two plastic cones that come with it weren’t closely sufficient to go around so we employed thin 12″ long wooden dowel rods which you may get at a craft store for with regards to 5 cents each.

Before you make your primary batch, you may want to watch a good deal of clips on making cotton candy on youtube. There is a sure technique to it but once you get the hang of it it’s very easy.

We had it running, on and off, for regarding an hour as we tried dissimilar flavors and candies. The motor kept going strong the whole time. Make sure it’s on a stable surface because the kids will want to lean in as far as they may to watch it.

It works with both hard candy and the sugar cotton candy mixes like Flossine. We found that it doesn’t work as well with the hard candy that’s distinctively finelooking sticky, like Jolly Ranchers. The manufacturer also recommends not using round hard candy, like sour balls.

Clean up is a cinch. The metal spinner percentage and the plastic bowl come off, then you just soak them in hot water for a few minutes and the sugar dissolves.

Definitely the most fun appliance I’ve ever owned!

4My Pros and cons
By Crazy_Teen
This is an AMAZING cotton candy machine and I’m very satisfied with it; nevertheless there are good and bad things with regards to it, such as:
Pro:
-You may likewise use floss or regular sugar (just use the measuring cup that comes with it, no more than that) and it makes alot more than the hard candy would
-If you use hard candy cotton candy it starts coming out without delay and fast, but if you use sugar you have to wait with regards to a minute before it starts coming out. It makes a huge ball in in regards to 1-2 minutes
-It heats up quick and makes little to no noise and doesn’t vibrate around like other cotton candy machines
-It takes only 3-5 minutes, at most, to set all of it up
-Sugar and floss doesn’t fly out everywhere
-comes with two reusable cones
-Fairly easy to clean up
Cons:
-the hard candy(I applied jolly ranchers) doesn’t work so well. The cotton candy isn’t fluffy and I believe it tastes awful
-Instruction booklet was a bit vague
*Side-note: You want to let it cool for a few minutes among batches, and this machine is unquestionably only for little groups. After you finish using it you want to wash the bowl and top percentage quickly because the sugar sticks there and starts to harden, and keep the disk on for a while because it is hot then soak it in hot water before washing(wash this piece thoroughly!). I hope this was in truth helpful and I in truth think this machine is worth the money! However, does anybody recognise where I may buy floss sugar at a store because I couldn’t find it at Walmart, Target, and Food Lion! Your help is appreciated. :)

5I Don’t “like it” I “ADORE IT”
By Raul M. Ulloa
First off the other reviewer was Somewhat right when it came to the dome portion when i original received it the plastic dome snapped on now it stays on but it does not snap on like before, I purchased this for my little brother and i have to say he ADORES it. We did not like the hard candy conception it sounds interesting but we just purchased 2 containers for 5.59 each of vanilla and berry cotton candy sugars at Smart & Final and let me tell you it’s AMAZING, we loved it it took numerous getting used to but after our third undertake we were just as good as carnies. We tried undertake the hard candy idea with galore green tea candy and it was good but it was harder than the cotton candy made of sugar the good thing in regards to the hard candy though the machine flossed it in seconds like the ad said it would so on that note the machine is functional. Contrary to what the former reviewer stated in regards to the sugar going everyplace this only happens if you put way to much sugar in the machine (my lid stays on so the sugar just falls on to the bowl underneath the spinner) the package comes with a measuring cup so you don’t over pour the sugar. The overall look of the machine is genuinely cool it looks like something out of the carnival scene in “Grease”. Overall the machine was outstanding i would buy more merchandise from Nostalgia Electrics (not cotton candy machines we already have one) but perchance in the future a cotton candy cart!!!!!
