This 11-inch skillet is part of the Berndes Tradition line of cookware. Tradition cookware is fictitious using vacuum-pressure casting. High-grade aluminum alloys are melted and forced into a mold, ensuring the absence of air bubbles and resulting in a thick base, thin sides, no interior rivets, lightweight construction, and a utterly flat bottom that never warps. The aluminum base delivers splendid heat distribution and is perfective for gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops.

The cookware’s interior and exterior nonstick surfaces assure easy cleanup and the coating is guaranteed to never chip, crack, peel, blister, or come off. The nonstick surface allows the user to cook by adding little or no fat. Berndes does nonstick right–in 1975, DuPont and Berndes were the original companies to launch nonstick cookware in Europe. Users are not commended to use metal utensils with Tradition cookware.

The cookware’s rustic wooden handles are cool to the touch on the stovetop. In addition, the cookware may be applied in the oven when wrapped with foil. Tradition cookware will have to not be washed in the dishwasher, as the handles may arid out from the heat.

Excellent pan but scratches easily

I bought this pan after a good amount of research, and it turned out to be a good choice. It heats evenly, sears well, cleans up easily, and is good looking too. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that it appears to scratch pretty easily. I used a wooden spatula and there were about 3-4 scratches after wards. So be sure to use silicone spatulas.

Buy this pan!

You cannot go wrong with any size of a Berndes frying pan. The wooden handles are wonderful because they never get hot, and look great besides.
I keep buying these pans because I’ve never in my very long life found a frying surface that comes even close. It heats evenly, and cleans in a breeze, and there’s no non-tick coating to gradually peel off. You must try this dependable, top-notch frypan.

Greatest skillet

This product is my absolute favorite to use in the kitchen. It cooks anything evenly and is easy to handle. I highly recommend any product of Berndes. I have used them for many years and have not found a better cooking product.
